We really enjoyed our stay at Umbral Habitación Rústica. The self check-in was simple and easy, and everything was well organized from the start.
The room was spotless, comfortable and very peaceful. What made Umbral especially nice was its character. The rustic design and thoughtful details made it feel more like a small private retreat than a typical hotel or rental. Even though it is close to everything in Tepoztlán, once inside it felt quiet and removed from the noise.
The host was one of the highlights of the stay, very helpful, responsive and genuinely welcoming without ever being intrusive.
We would definitely return and would recommend Umbral to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable and unique place to stay in Tepoztlán, with a more personal feel than a typical hotel.
