Lovely bright airy room and comfortable bunk. Great kitchen with plenty food to make a meal and a Carrfour next door for any extras.
I had to take a bus to be able to swim in the lake. But it’s not the property’s fault. Close to Como San Giovanni station.

Staff is really friendly and the people in the hostel are very social. Made some really nice friends! Truly one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Would recommend it!!

Basically, I'm not a hostel-stayer but this experience was brilliant! Much higher than expected. Spotless clean facilities, proper noise protection, fully equipped kitchen, sensibly arranged storage for the personal belongings, comfy bunks with new linen, friendly and helpful English-speaking staff. I'll definitely be back one day as hotels are absolutely overpriced in the area and I can't see the point of not staying with Ostello Bello under the circumstances.
No towels are provided. I don't know if that is a regular situation with hostels, probably it is. I just was not prepared:)

Good location and nice staff.
Extremely overpriced and not that comfortable. Not very social either.
