Exceptional

Beyond excellent stay. To make it short, here are the key points: 1. Staff and Service - Marie, the host, was available for any consultation, either questions about the facilities, the apartment, or points of interest around Colmar. As first-time visiters to Colmar and Alsace, Marie took the time to show us all the interesting locations, tasty and recommended restaurants, or calming nature parks. She even has maps and journals available for you, free of charge, of course, at the apartment. Marie is the local Alsacian who, with all her heart, wants people to get to know the beautiful region and city! Too cute, not to mention - at the end of our stay, Marie brought us her homemade cookies so we would have some food for the road. 2. Apartment - The apartment is well equipped and heated, and the terrace is great for either going out to smoke or sitting outside and enjoying the weather (depends on the season, of course). The kitchen can answer all your cooking needs with its facilities (toaster, coffee machine, dish washer, oven etc..). The shower is big and cozy, and we never experienced a lack of warn water (our stay was on December 22, and we showered in multiple hours throughout the stay). The apartment, however, doesn't have a washing machine. But there are laundromats 3. Apartment's Location and Proximity - Colmar is not a big city. However, the apartment is located in the city center, inside the beautiful old town. It is a few steps away from a grocery store, supermarket, underground parking, and all that the old town has to offer. Restaurants and museums are all next to the apartment. The apartment is 10-15 minute walk from the main train station, easy to navigate, and find it as well.

Wonderful Bartholdi home.

Appartement Bartholdi was our home for exploring the wonderful Colmar and its surroundings. The apartment is perfectly located for visiting the city on foot and proper also for four people, very comfortable and well organized sofa bed. The roof terrace is a real treat. Marie is an attentive and precise hostess, she will not miss anything and you will have all the informations to explore the wonderful Alsace. The bottle of excellent Gewutztraminer found fresh for our arrival was also very appreciate. Thank you Marie and thank you Casa Bartholdi for a wonderful holiday!

Beautiful place and a great location

The apartment was just beautiful! Location is perfect , right in the center of the wonderful Colmar. It is very clean, well equipt and also nicely decorated

The ceiling is very thin so we heard any little noice that the neighbor did. This is the only disadvantage of this place, so if you can ignore it, the apartment is perfect.
