Breakfast was fine, maybe better than run of the mill. The room was extremely spacious and nicely appointed. The nicest of many we've had this week. The TV was great, as was the heating-air system. The room was also very quiet.
The gentleman who checked us in did not greet us or even establish eye contact. He was mildly annoyed with an older man who had left a luggage cart too close to the door; he was having trouble moving it. We asked the receptionist for a recommendable restaurant nearby and he just said to go to the mall, pointing down the street. It could have been better! A little more training and the fostering of more graceful manners in front-end staff would surely be a big plus and make your property all the more memorable. The bed was too soft and several of the pillows had a musty-body smell and could not be used. These should be washed or replaced. We also noticed a lot of brown grime around all the buttons on both lamp stands. We cleaned them with alcohol wipes. Those are high contact items, so should get more attention. The peephole cover on the door was not working as expected and remained open at all times.
