Good location, quite quaint. Good shower. Aircon. Pretty building. Excellent boulangerie up the road. The hotel had character.
Room (second floor ) was rather small and there were a few small maintenance issues, like a leaking shower and extractor fan not working. Switch of one bedside light was impossible to reach from bed. None of these was that important but the room just needed a little care.

Very quiet area. Room was clean, staff was very accommodating. Rooms were abit small, but many of them are that way in Europe. No elevator in the building, but had air conditioning. Not far from the historical areas.
All the stairs, but normal for Europe. No lift.

Charming romantic old style villa hotel in a good location. everything in easy reach. I have stayed in other hotels in Nice that are preferable over the years I booked this as a new one to try and probably wont again.
No lift we had been travelling for three weeks in France so had luggage we were on the second floor usually there would be help with this. Not a great start didn't get the twin room we had booked and had confirmed in writing by the hotel I wasn't travelling as a couple, Reception staff were polite but unwelcoming so didn't make a fuss as it was just for one night. The cleaning staff helped us when they saw us struggling with our cases on the stairs. The breakfast staff were cool. A shame because the others hotels we had stayed in had given us a good experience.

"The staff fantastic. Maura lent us a phone charger and told us how to get to Juventus football stadium. The hotel gave us a breakfast box for an early start."
