An Absolutely Exceptional Stay. We Can’t Wait to Return!
We stayed at this beautiful hotel in early October, and everything about our experience was simply outstanding.
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Our room was gorgeous, spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable.
What truly makes this hotel special, however, is the exceptional level of service. Every single member of staff, from the reception team to housekeeping, the spa staff, and everyone working behind the scenes, was genuinely warm, attentive, professional, and welcoming. The hospitality was flawless throughout our entire stay.
And then there’s the food. WOW!
From breakfast to dinner, including the hotel’s fine-dining gourmet restaurant, the culinary experience was nothing short of extraordinary. We are serious foodies, with very high expectations when it comes to dining, and we are definitely not easy to impress. Yet every meal managed to exceed our expectations. The quality, creativity, flavors, presentation, and attention to detail were truly remarkable.
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay here. Every aspect of our experience reflected an incredible commitment to quality, hospitality, and excellence.
This hotel is an absolute gem, and we would return in a heartbeat. We will definitely be back!

An Exceptional Experience — One of the Best Hotels We Have Ever Stayed At
Our entire experience at Granbaita and in the Dolomites was absolutely outstanding. This is, without a doubt, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. It offers a rare combination of luxury, impeccable professionalism, and genuinely personal hospitality, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of.
The rooms are beautiful, modern, exceptionally clean, and clearly recently renovated. Every member of staff, from reception to the restaurant team and waiters, was truly TOP-NOTCH: attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and always welcoming. Beyond their professionalism, the entire team makes you feel like part of one big, happy family. Their warmth and genuine care are unmistakable, and you can truly feel that their hospitality comes from the heart.
What makes this hotel even more exceptional is everything included in your stay. The fact that you can enjoy electric bikes, guided excursions, and a variety of other activities AT NO EXTRA COST is simply incredible. Combined with the quality of the hotel and its service, this makes the entire experience an 11/10 and returning an absolute no-brainer.
A very special thank you to MIRKO AND PATRICK, who made our experience in the Dolomites truly unforgettable. They are exceptional guides who offer far more than just a tour. Their deep knowledge of the region and genuine passion for their home make every excursion authentic, personal, and extraordinary. They do not simply show you the Dolomites — they help you understand them, appreciate them, and fall in love with them just as they have. They were undoubtedly among the highlights of our entire trip.
Grand Baita is so much more than a beautiful luxury hotel. It is a place where exceptional service, authentic local experiences, and genuine hospitality come together. You can feel the passion and care that the entire team puts into making every guest’s stay special.
NOT A COMPLAIN. The only thing worth mentioning for future guests is that the sauna has certain local customs that may come as a cultural surprise to visitors unfamiliar with the region’s wellness culture. However, these practices are completely normal in this part of Europe and easy to adapt to once you understand the rules and follow the appropriate towel etiquette. We encourage guests to approach this with an open mind rather than let it affect their overall impression of the hotel and later complain about it.
Honestly, this cultural difference may be one reason some guests rate the hotel slightly below a perfect score. In every other respect, our experience was as close to 10/10 as it gets.

Great location to walk to town. Staff was exceptional, especially Fabio who helped with our ebikes! Incredible 7-course "Trust Us" meal at the gourmet restaurant. Wonderful breakfasts. Nice spa facilities to relax after a day of hiking or biking. We hope to go back again sometime and will definitely stay here.

The overal experience has been great. The staff is friendly and professional. The general amenities of the resort are great.
Our room was very outdated: a broken light fixture, worn out carpet and a below par shower situation. Room is not worthy of a five star resort.
