The property and cottages created a serene village atmosphere. We arrived late in the day, hungry with no lunch and the chef whipped us up a cheese plate and wine. Hit the spot. Privacy good. Convenient to Madalena. Didn’t get a chance to try the pool.

It is a lovely park that has been well thought out, offering a beautiful view of Pico. There are many facilities, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful.
The cottage was tastefully furnished with modern pieces, but unfortunately, not all of them were particularly comfortable. The bed wasn’t very good, and the small sofa wasn’t comfortable either. The light in the cottage was also very bright and an unpleasant color. We moved a lamp ourselves to make it feel a bit cozier. We found the laundry service to be very expensive (€12 per kilo).

Very good quality and well equipped chalet.
Restaurant staff were superbe.
Nothing- may not be so good i. Future as they planted a lot of horrible leylandii trees along the avenue
