Smelled clean, looked clean and super friendly and attentive staff
4th floor room got warm and fan alone did not cool it off

Pretty much what one would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Newer building. Room was clean and updated. Complementary breakfast was good. Selection of chain restaurants start about a half mile away, and if you want Swedish meatballs an Ikea cafeteria is near by. Shuttle to PDX is offered, but Tri-Met is also only one stop from the airport.
Coffee makers have been removed from the rooms under the guise of being eco friendly. 24-hour complimentary coffee is offered in the lobby, but not a fan of having to get dressed, leave the room, get on the elevator, and go downstairs to get a cup at 5:00 a.m.

Big rooms. Great beds lovely pond with koi fish.
Breakfast used to be included and now they have started to charge. Greedy owners.

Everything seemed well cared for
The first room I was given smelled like marijuana so bad I went back downstairs to change rooms. The second room had hair on the bathroom counter.
