Stained parlour chairs. Dining chairs are shaky, kitchen not well equipped. WiFi does not work in rooms. Cheap furniture.

There were no dish soap available in kitchen but laundry facilities were key for us. Location was great near the sea front and close to all key attractions and food street.

Spacious

The apartment itself is decent and has good potential. The air fryer was good, the fridge worked well, the wardrobe was fine, and overall the room was reasonably comfortable. With proper maintenance and deeper cleaning, this could be a very good place to stay.

The biggest issue was the door/key card. In only two days I had to go down to reception around 8–10 times because the key repeatedly stopped opening the door — I am genuinely not exaggerating. Instead of properly fixing the lock/door, I was repeatedly told not to keep the card near my mobile phone. After so many occurrences, this became extremely frustrating. The lock/door mechanism clearly needs proper repair or replacement. There were also many maintenance and cleanliness issues. The shower water pressure was extremely weak. The washing machine in one room was very dirty, especially inside and around the rubber door seal. I even tried cleaning it myself with Dettol, but dirt/residue remained inside the rubber. The kettles in both rooms had visible staining/discoloration inside, and the electric hob had significant rust/discoloration. The sofa had visible marks/stains, the towels did not feel as clean as they should, the clothes-drying rack was partly broken, and the curtains were dirty and difficult to operate. The lighting was also very poor, especially when trying to use the mirror or see your face properly. Some drawers/fittings were worn and the safe was essentially unusable. The AC was not very good and I experienced water leaking from it. The room also felt poorly ventilated, and at times I found it difficult to breathe comfortably inside. I cannot say whether this was caused by the AC, ventilation or something else, but the AC and ventilation system definitely need proper inspection, cleaning and maintenance. The Wi-Fi was also not very reliable. Most of these problems are completely fixable. The property needs a proper inspection, deeper cleaning and regular maintenance rather than waiting for guests to report each individual problem.
