The location is great,as it just above from Scarborough Spa. Street parking was good. I went to the sister hotel, just literally round the corner and enjoyed a full English vegan breakfast 😋 The Maynard was cleand, with comfy beds and all the staff I met were friendly and helpful. This is my second stay here. The radiator was on when I arrived, so it was lovely and toastie.
Everything was great.

Nice and clean, easy enough walk to centre, comfortable bed. Great value.
Parking outside for a small charge else you can get free parking a bit further away.
Couple of things to address for our room.
Our room had new carpet made the door hard to push open and close freely.
Hanging clothes not easy as it was over the drinks station on the shelves below. Had to move the dressing table to put the kettle on away from clothes as the cord was short.

Beds were comfy, room was clean.
It was extremely hot and stuffy in the top room. The shower was very poor.
