The staff were fabulous. When I arrived - Alice - friendly professional, helpful - all just the right amount. The two ladies the following morning - fab!
The driveway was a cracker - how did they use that back in the day I wonder :) Heritage listed - just a thing.

The location, as Metropole Katoomba was just a 5-minute walk away from the train station. The room was cozy. Size was sufficient for 2 light travellers with a 30L and 20L respectively. The walk towards Blue Mountains would take about 30 minutes and there were plenty of restaurants along the way.
All good.

Communal facilities (library, games room, dining room) were fantastic. Lovely old school vibe.
Rooms are basic and poky.

Didnt like the pillows, queen room little small and didnt look as nice as it did on the wwbsite, little dark, but overall was a good stay.
