About this cottage rental
The Osprey cottage sleeps up to 8 people. New flooring was installed in 2022 and beautiful craftsmanship with a bedroom loft and a large screened in porch overlooking the lake with sunsets to the west. A rowboat is included with your rental. The grounds are gorgeous. Its ideal for children as its located on a private dead end road. The property is a short drive to Middlebury for shopping, restaurants, museums, and the college. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, and furnishings, linens will be provided for an optional housekeeping fee. There is a bait & tackle shop, catering for events, or dinners on our screened in porch, and weather permitting BBQs, and boat rides with reservations. The newly built Champlain Bridge is just a short distance from the property. Larrabee's Point is close by for catching the Car Ferry to Ticonderoga, NY.

Our stay was very pleasant beautiful area of Vermont and incredible views . You are close to lots of attractions about an hour away from many things to do. Worry free area for kids to roam and enjoy the peace and quiet no traffic. The lake is large and we saw a lot of eagles , osprey , ect. Great place to fish. The lake water is a little cloudy due to a clay bottom but overall a good place to stay and friendly host .

Enjoyed our stay at the osprey cottage. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. The property was lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the sun set over Lake Champlain. Very quiet and serene. Ardie, Mike and Tom were very friendly and welcoming and answered all our questions.

We stayed here for our daughter’s graduation from Middlebury. It worked out great. Ardie and her husband were just delightful!

Booking and check in was smooth and efficient. Ardie was flexible, accommodating and attentive. Enjoyed kayaking and exploring the grounds with my dog. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable mini vacation. Would highly recommend!!
