Helpful owner with tips on local restaurants. Quiet & private with a balcony that had nice views. Spacious room. Good breakfast provided.

We didn’t have a car so we were tied to the bus schedule to get to town or national park. The bus was not always reliable due to traffic jams at the park and only ran about every 30min. But perfect if you have a car.

Delicious breakfast made by the host was daily delivered in our room. The accomodation was nearby the entrance of Seoraksan NP.

Everything was perfect. Our host was very kind, gave us lots of recommendations, and provided a map of the area when we arrived. He speaks perfect English and brought us breakfast to our door every morning! The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, with a spa in the room and a small balcony offering a fantastic ocean view!

We are so happy that we chose to stay at Casa Seorak. We were considering staying in the city or directly at the park's entrance. Though we couldn't ignore the high rating for this property and weren't disappointed. The owner gave us a warm welcome and information about the local area. The room was spacious and comfortable and we appreciated the kitchenette. The bed was also comfortable. The view from the balcony was inspiring and relaxing. We didn't have a car and so caught a taxi from the express bus terminal both on arrival and departure, which was very reasonably priced. Otherwise we walked the short distance through the lovely small village to the local bus stop, which took us to the park and to the city. We went to the local restaurants for dinner and felt safe walking home in the dark as a couple. Overall, our stay at this guesthouse complimented the wonderful time we had in Sokcho.
