The room has been updated and is so cutie! The bathroom light is motion activated and shuts itself off after so long, this was a nice feature for late at night bathroom runs. The staff are all super nice and helpful as well! Overall, lovely place and wonderful place to stay.
The only downside would be that Edinburgh, in general, is not built for travel by car. The hotel has no parking spaces available for those travelling that way and it is super expensive to park in town. We had to park outside of town and ride the bus into town to our hotel. Thankfully, there are a few bus stops right in front of the hotel so it is convenient. It just would have been nice to have a heads up about parking ahead of time so we could have better prepared/planned.

Location was great. Staff were friendly and made recommendations on things to do and see. Room was spacious.
I wouldn’t class this as something we didn’t like, but it would have been great if the hair products included conditioner.

Great staff and always helpful.
The stairs were hard with heavy luggage.
