Poor Listing Details and Property Management.

The location to the Lake was the only positive side here. I could see this group of cabins being nice in the summer for Lake days..

Had a very disappointing experience at the Little Pine Wood cabin. We booked to celebrate New Year's. On Airbnb and Booking.com, it was listed that there was a working fireplace, which was a big reason we decided to book. After we clicked mobile check-in, the Bwebsite listed the fireplace and instructions on how to use it. Upon arrival, there was a sign over the fireplace that said, "Do not use." We brought this up to management and they essentially told us repeatedly that a fireplace was not listed as an available amenity, even after we provided multiple screenshots of it saying EVERYWHERE that it was. The bedding was AWFUL and not clean. Literal dirt on the pillows. Cobwebs all over, and the kitchen light was out. They said they would send a cleaning crew and give us a warning when they'd head over. No warning came. Someone just showed up, so we had to pack up unexpectedly to provide them with some space. Upon returning, they didn't even swap out the bedding. They just put a new white blanket over the entire bed, and I guess "wiped" the pillow because the same pillow with dirt on it that we sent the photo of, was still there, just a little "less dirty". Cobwebs were still there, and the kitchen light never got fixed. Even though it was Winter and we hadn't planned to use it, it's worth noting that the "year-round heated jacuzzi" was also closed/shut down. While we don't have a problem with size and the barebones of provided supplies, this cabin was not suitable for guests paying $1,000+ for a 3-night stay, and property management/customer service, while responsive, did not address the brought up issues appropriately All in all, very disappointed with the Cabin and how it did not match the listing details, but more so with Big Bear Vacations management and how they handled the issues. I don't know if I will ever stay at one of their properties again.
