Location, fabulous friendly staff and the gorgeous building
Could hear the person in the next room snoring. Only having one male toilet per floor is a problem.

Location, price, helpful staff & comfy rooms
I would have liked to be able to make a cuppa after the reception/bar closes.

I’ve stayed here before and always liked it. Relaxed and friendly. Clean shared bathroom never had to wait, life hot shower.
This stay my room was street facing and the street noise is very loud with a lot of homeless people shouting into the night and cars revving. There are double windows which work but then there is no air and the room was really smelly like stale old cigarettes or dirty socks (it’s definitely non smoking so don’t know why) so not good closed up. Bed wasn’t very comfortable…blanket itchy and rough. It just felt generally unpleasant unfortunately.
