The location was very convenient. It is central and within walking distance of the hotel, shops and restaurants. The property was clean, the room was laid out well & in a practical manner and the decor was lovely. Check-in process was seamless.
I really enjoyed making use of the terrace. We had good weather whilst staying there. One particular feature which I really loved were the glass panes in the windows of the bathroom and bedroom. Really beautiful and rare to see such a beautiful patterned glass! Tea & coffee facilities were welcome. All in all a beautiful property and would recommend.
As someone who loves natural light, this was mainly available through the bathroom windows. Unless you keep the bathroom door open, the room is dark and necessitates electric light. I was wondering if the owner has maybe considered placing a small window for extra light above each bedside table? Even if they can’t be opened but purely for more natural light into the room. Having said that there are lamps that provide extra light and placing a long mirror on the wall opposite the bathroom door also helped reflect light into the room.
My only other minor issue was the spring coil mattress which shakes a bit when your spouse turns in bed & wakes you :) We also needed an adapter plug that takes the round two prong plug for the hairdryer but we sourced one from the supermarket across the square.

High-ceilinged bedroom\living room, quiet garden, practical and well-chosen period furniture, sizeable and well-equipped bathroom.
I don't much like inner-spring mattresses -- modern foam mattresses suit me better. And the lavatory seat is outwork and chipped and flaking.

It was clean and comfortable
It was just a room- no inside area to sit and relax in.
