The location was wonderful and the newly refurbished rooms in the Baiyun block were very well put together.
No proper cafe or bar to have a drink.

Our stay was lovely! It’s central in Guangzhou. People were extremely friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! We will come back!!!

We were warmly greeted with genuine smiles at reception, even though we arrived very late at night. Both check-in and check-out were seamless. The room felt brand new, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-equipped—having access to both a pillow menu and a mattress menu was a fantastic touch!
The location is unbeatable: despite being right in the heart of the city within walking distance of key attractions, the property is remarkably quiet and peaceful—a true oasis amidst the bustle. While we didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant or bar, both looked inviting and offered great deals. All in all, exceptional value for money in a prime setting. Highly recommended!
A few friendly suggestions for improvement (not dealbreakers, just ideas to elevate the guest experience even further):
Air Conditioning: The AC unit was somewhat noisy and blows air directly onto the beds, which can get a bit uncomfortable at night. Adjusting the airflow direction or airflow baffles would make a big difference.
Bathroom Storage: Adding extra hooks or rails for hanging towels and personal toiletries would be very practical.
Amenities & Garden: The pool and hotel facilities deserve more visibility—highlighting them more during check-in or via in-room guides would be great. Also, the garden is absolutely lovely and feels slightly underutilized; turning it into a dedicated coffee or afternoon tea garden would be a wonderful touch!

Location: Quite a central location - most places were within 10-15 minutes ride from the hotel.
Room: Room was clean and one of the attendants were so sweet to write us a note that she had given us more bottles of water because the weather was hot ><. The hotel bed was too hard for our liking but they immediately switched over to the softer side upon request.
Honesty: I carelessly left my wedding band and a ring at the gym and only realised it was missing the next day... thankfully the gym staff kept it safely for me when I returned to look for it. Thank you so much!
Gym: Some of the dumbells/weight machines were a little rusty.
