I have to admit that we were a bit skeptical before arriving at Stari Tišler Guest House due to some of the comments we read online. However, from the moment we arrived, our experience completely proved those worries wrong!
The room was spotlessly clean and everything was exactly as it should be. The hostess was absolutely wonderful and incredibly polite—she was always available for anything we needed and made us feel so welcome.
On top of the great hospitality, the location is perfect for exploring Ljubljana, as everything is within easy reach.
If you are hesitating because of a few negative reviews, don't worry about them. We have nothing but praise for this place and would definitely choose it again!

This guesthouse is in a great location - 10 minutes walk to the Old Town and the river, and really close to the train and bus stations. It is in a quiet location but close to shops and restaurants. As it was slightly out of season the on-site restaurant no longer offered dinner, but that wasn't a problem. Breakfast offered a good range of options, and we were able to leave our luggage on the last day after check out, which really halped.
Once reception closes for the day, it is difficult to get any contact with staff should you need it. The wi-fi did not work and we had no way of contacting them to tell them!

Great location, close to the rail station and a short walk into the centre. Quiet neighbourhood. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast. Room was quiet and clean.
