We have stayed here a couple of times before and enjoy the fact that we can check-in during the early hours of the morning, so not have to arrive too early and then hang around the hotel. The lady supervising the breakfast was very helpful about the cheapest way to order this going forwards (tip - book it the night before). The bed was comfy, the room was fresh and clean.
Arriving to a group of drunk northerners smoking outside at 1.30 am. Same bunch followed us in as we checked in and we let them pass before heading upstairs. Second time we’ve had this checking in.
The lift was in an atrocious state, with the floor running with a couple of spilled pints (at least, I hope that is what we were standing in). It was impossible not to stand in this unidentified liquid.

I had a room with a view (cited from 'Fawlty Towers').
I stayed for a Snooker Tournament and I got room No. 147!
Good Omen, obviously, yet the Championships were won by an Indian. So I went to eat out Indian cuisine, still it didn't improve my cue delivery or shot selection...
The breakfast is good but still gets better, when you order supplementary fried eggs, sunny side up, nice and runny, I 'm loving it. Broad selection in cereals, muesli, dried fruits and nuts, as well as choice of yogurts , fruit salad and fresh fruit. The Nescafé Coffee maker isn't high-end portafilter, but it did it's job of wakening me up.
Very friendly and welcoming staff! Thank you all!
The view was on the M6, which is perfect, if you need to be on the road next morning, it's 2 minutes away from the junction. The acoustic insulation must be good, since I didn't hear any disturbing roars, hum or hiss from the motorway
I couldn't securely fasten my shower head, so it kept slipping down the pole.

Good staff , firm bed.
Only one lift was working at the time, please replace scrambled eggs with fried (minor issue but scrambled eggs dry out in the hot pot)

Staff friendly.
I was working nightshift, too much noise through out the day to sleep.
