From the moment we stepped into the riad, we felt like we had travelled back in time and experienced the beauty of traditional Moroccan life. We stayed in a room on the ground floor, which was surprisingly quiet and very comfortable. Although we initially expected it to be noisy, we woke up each morning only to the soothing sound of the fountain and birds singing in the courtyard. The breakfast was simple but absolutely delicious and homemade by the Moroccan ladies. We were especially touched by the kindness of the manager, who offered to wait us outside the Medina at 1:30 a.m. to ensure we arrive safely to Riad. Thanks to the incredible staff and their warm hospitality, this Riad felt more like a home than a hotel and was truly one of the highlights of our trip.
P.S. Thank you for the book. It now has a special place in my travel guide collection and will always remind me of this wonderful stay.
