Loved all aspects

10 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026

Highlight of our trip, we'd booked it purely for logistical reasons, just to do the Cliffs of Moher and perhaps the ferry without having to hurry on a bus, but really fell in love with Doolin. Note Doolin as a town doesn't have much-- a few places for food some gift shops, no general story, very tiny, so it's not the high life, but the food was nice, the music FANTASTIC, the weather suitably terrible ;) and it was really nice to get a break from everything. I want to go back to hold a writer's retreat.

Loved the restaurant in the same building, called 30 miles. All local sourced food and such a treat after eating too much pub food.

The steak at Glas.

Carrying our luggage up steps to our room. No help from the staff. No wash cloths. Odd continental breakfast. How about some fresh fruit? Berries? Coffee was disappointing.
