The room was beautiful, clean and naturally cool, offering a unique experience staying inside a cave. Thoughtful touches such as diffusers, air conditioning and heating made the stay comfortable. We were upgraded to a room with a large bathtub, and the shower built into the cave walls was a lovely feature. The location was excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, and the rooftop offered amazing views of the hot air balloons at sunrise.
Breakfast was fairly average and could have been better. There was no room service, just QR codes linking to nearby restaurants. We also went up to the rooftop at sunrise to watch the balloons, but there were no tea or coffee facilities available at that time, which was disappointing given the setting.

We stayed at Hera Cave Suite from the 7th to the 9th of September and honestly, our experience was nothing short of exceptional.
We chose the honeymoon suite, which was absolutely beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. There were lovely sweets, fresh fruit, and plenty of coffee waiting for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the breakfast was delicious, and its location is perfect, being so close to the town and everything we needed.
However, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of the staff, particularly one very special gentleman, Fatih.
I genuinely cannot praise Fatih enough. He was, without a doubt, the highlight of our stay. He is one of the most hardworking, kind-hearted, and genuinely welcoming people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. From helping us with our luggage to checking in on us, offering us coffee, and taking the time to stop for a friendly chat, he went above and beyond in every possible way.
Even when we were simply sitting on the balcony enjoying the beautiful views, Fatih would come over with a warm smile, say hello, offer us coffee, and make us feel so completely at home. His kindness was never forced or simply part of his job; it felt genuinely heartfelt. We felt seen, cared for, and incredibly well looked after.
I sincerely hope the hotel management recognises Fatih for the outstanding service he provides. People like him are what make a hotel truly special, and he deserves every bit of appreciation and praise.
Our entire experience felt like a home away from home. The cleanliness, the beautiful suite, the breakfast, the location, and above all, the exceptional hospitality made our stay so memorable.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Hera Cave Suite to all my friends, family, and anyone visiting Cappadocia. We would absolutely love to return.

The location is great, walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had the family room and definitely felt like we were sleeping in a cave. The staff was welcoming and friendly.
The beds were uncomfortable and we could hardly sleep. They rooftop furniture is worn and not inviting. The breakfast was okay.
