The view from the room and second floor is just lovely. Food quality is excellent and both chefs looked after our food requests at dinner. The welcome champagne was a nice surprise . Staff are welcoming and friendly and ready to assist. Northern lights are possible and we had a fantastic night watching the lights dance in the sky from the comfort of our terrace room. Thank you to Ashnika for looking after us.
This hotel is not fully finished and there is currently no spa facilities. Although advertised as a spa hotel, so please note if you are planning to stay in October/November 2026. Workmen were on site at time of stay. Also worth noting there are no TVs in the rooms, a large TV viewing room with large cinema style seating is available for guests. Hotel is accessed from the main road via a single track road, which at time of stay was unfinished in parts. Even with a few little snags we had a fantastic one night stay and would love to return and see the completed hotel.

Lovely quiet location, close to Selfoss. Very new hotel. All staff helpful and friendly doing their best to make our stay comfortable.
Arranged for us to use another Spa facility which was excellent but a good drive away.
Building work still in progress. Spa and gym not completed. Workmen completing minor jobs in the hotel.
Our bedroom too hot. System not adjusted correctly. One of the teething problems.
When all work is finished this will be a lovely hotel.
