We stayed in this place together with another couple....friends of ours. We had the apartment on Level 2 which had a total of 3 double beds (2 in 1 room, and 1 in the corner of the living room, shielded by curtains) and 2 bathrooms. The apartment was clean and quite spacious. The host provided detailed parking and check-in instructions which made things easy. Location by the Melaka River was excellent and walkable to Jonker street and other major attractions. The small box of kuih delivered the next morning added a thoughtful touch.
Nothing to dislike.

location - if you love curious bakers/the grandma alcohol shop/tipsy riverside then this is the best for you.
staff - very friendly, speedy reply, easy to communicate with, NO loooongggg house rules (if you know you know), surprise us with some local kuih in the morning (sweeet!), i ask for a visit when they cleaning another floor's room and the uncle aunty very welcoming.
room - Although it is located in a very busy area but no noise at all when we sleep. The unit is super spacious, very clean, the fridge is big enough. *i love the mirror they prepare in each room, super friendly to makeup girlss 😅. And! the mattress and pillow is good haha, my bf even ask if we can buy a similar one
check-in/out - easy to checkin and out, they allow us to checkin much earlier than the time stated (*if the room is ready) very kind owners.
parking - only one free parking by their property (location nearby), following vehicles just park roadside/private land(rm6 perday)

i think the only concern is if you bring eldest then choose the ground floor, the eldest might be a bit hard for them to walk up and down to the third floor.

Location and the landlord. This is my place to stay each time here in Melaka either with relatives or with colleagues.. 3rd time in 3 years if not mistaken but Different building.

Central and very near to touristy spots
The bathroom for 4 pax- When bidet tap is on, the bathroom floor has water flowing out from behind the water tank of toilet -luckily there was a mop there to use for drying up. There were 5 of us but only 4 forks were provided. No teaspoons for stirring drink in cups. No teapot or coffee pot to make our beverage and we had to pour from coffee satchets a little bit at a time into the small coffee cups and stirring the beverage with dinner spoons. Once outside I think the smell from the river is overpowering.
