We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Snowdonia.The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations.
We could not have asked for a better experience. Everything was perfect, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the summit because of the location as well .

The location is spectacular. The hotel has an ambience of Victorian luxury but the reality is one of faded or tired glory.
Dinner in the restaurant was not available and dinner in the bar had a limited menu. The bar staff run the bar like a pub, not a bar of a luxury hotel. They were incapable of making any cocktails, for instance, which probably doesn't matter to most of the clientele which seemed to consist of bus tours. Ironically, they could eat in the restaurant: we couldn't.

Ideal location at the start of Snowdon trek. Clean room and comfortable bed.
The room and particularly bathroom quite small for the price. The two lifts to get to the third floor were far apart and it took some time to navigate to the room with suitcases. The restaurant dinner menu was limited, although there was more choice in the bar.
