I had a very low opinion of this brand but after reading so many good reviews, I gave it a shot. WHAT AN AWESOME FIND! Super clean, newly renovated. White bedding, comfy mattress. Vinyl plank flooring. Owner was very proud of the renovations (deservedly so!). We often pass through Santee and now have made this our motel of choice and have recommended it to our friends. Also, it felt very safe which is super important. Best bang for your buck!

The king bed was very comfortable and an extremely good value. My two dogs enjoyed the room and the rate for them was very reasonable. The breakfast was an added benefit.
The property is not well lit during the nighttime
