Clean and staff was wonderful. Very accommodating!!
Location was great! Just a few steps to a small park with a parking lot that had direct access to Lake Huron! We watched the sunrise on Huron in our jammies!
Our room had a smell. Either. a previous guest smoked in the room (although it is not allowed) or there was moisture somewhere. Staff offered another room, same smell. We compromised with hotel air freshener. It worked.
No elevator. My husband is disabled. He had trouble getting suitcases up the flight of stairs. Just request a floor level room.

Needs a serious update.

The room was well appointed and nicely located on the main floor.
I greatly prefer cooked eggs for hotel breakfasts, and only hardboiled eggs were available.
