We loved the historic cabin but our recent stay in another cabin had a bunk bed we were afraid was going to collapse and kill someone as it was old and weak.
We saw a lot of rat traps and rat foam and chew marks and worried about such visitors in the night. We did not see a human being except a guy in the phone who took our key to check out and did not greet us when we walked in but said goodbye. The floors were very dirty in our cabins. We had to keep going to another resort for meals as there are no stores nearby.

The cabins give you a rustic feeling deep in the woods, great views among tall trees and the lake.

I had a dock for the boat outside the cabin. Boat launch was nearby.
Heater in room didn't work.
