Friendly host, great value for money and clean with on site parking. It's a great base for Yosemite with parking around the back, it's located in Groveland which has several spots for food, amenties and close by gas statioms. Only around 35 minutes to the Big Oak Flat entrance with you having to drive further on to get deeper in to the park so bear this in mind before setting off and returning from the park just as a tip.
No complaints really, the price I paid for the hostel dorm bed was a fraction of what other accommodation was during August.

I loved the staff member who helped us— he had a great sense of humor and the hostel felt more like visiting my grandma’s than staying in a place with other strangers. It was incredibly comfortable with many unique vintage elements! Coffee was available to brew as well!

The facilities were decent , location was accessible, parking space available, room was hygienic, and the hostel overall was good .
Coffee machine was there but no supplies ( milk powder, sugar, sweetener nothing apart from the machine), barely any plates to eat, or spoons or forks. Shared bathroom was decent but no hot water, shower pressure was slow, didn’t felt like we took a bath.
