Lovely view over the fast flowing river. Very peaceful

Could do with a few pods of milk in the fridge to make a cuppa

The room was basic, rustic and clean. The logs gave a country feel and matched what I thought of Denali. Did I imagine that I could smell the woodsy aroma? Loved looking out to the Nanana river. We had breakfast across the street the the Denali Village. Very good.

We arrived after 9 pm and wandered around in the dark trying to find our unit. We came across some people, eg employees? who showed us where we were staying. But all good. Problem solved.

The resort is very well located on the river and views of the forests and mountains from our room was excellent. The room was cozy for 2 with the right amount of space, balcony and a very neat bathroom.

There was an odd smell that lasted for a while in our room and eventually when we kept our balcony doors open, it went away. But did linger everytime we returned to our room.

6 / 10Average·Aug 2026

The room had a balcony which looked over the river. The room was quite large.

It was very tired and worn. Carpet was dirty and there were no facilities - like a mini fridge or decent soap.
