The Orenco Station Hotel

The room was absolutely full of awesome little things you would never think to bring for a short stay: games, hygiene items, candies, and even robes! The hotel is also sooooo perfectly located in Orenco Station, with its history as an old company town and its newer life as a transit-oriented development. Everything is walkable, and even something as simple as the short wait to cross NE Cornell is a great example of why places like Orenco should be repeated and appreciated. It just works. We came all the way from Michigan on our honeymoon aboard the Empire Builder. After arriving at Portland Union Station, we were able to use Amtrak's Metropolitan Lounge with our Business Class tickets, which gave us a comfortable place to figure out the MAX route out to the hotel and scope out our return trip. I’m writing this now comfortably back in the Metropolitan Lounge after our night in Orenco Station. Safe, comfortable, and very pleased with our stay!

The lack of station lean in, I do think some beautiful photos of the max train and the orenco station parkway area. My least favorite part was leaving! Can't wait to return!

We had a great discussion with the owner which gave us a nice connection to the hotel. The room was large, nice windows and a very comfortable bed.

Love this area. Comfy beds, clean and wonderful staff

Parking if it’s a busy time.

There was hair in the bathroom in a few different locations. I told management but he didn't do anything about or offer to have someone come clean it.
