Great hotel with great Staff.

Location was great- walkable to downtown and the Iron Mountain springs. Restaurants right across the street if you don’t feel like crossing the bridge to downtown. Everything was very clean. The fixtures and furnishings are definitely dated but that’s great! So much more sustainable than changing things out every few years. We had a great stay and will be back.

Unfortunately before covid I would never spend $100 a night for this hotel but that also means I’m never going to spend $250 a night at a Hampton Inn because Covid created stupid people that will pay these prices.
Location is great! Room was clean. Bed was firm. Shower was hot. Parking was close to room. No breakfast served but most hotel breakfasts suck! I knew that going in. I read the reviews and got exactly what I expected.
The air conditioner and heater was a bit noisy.

Andrew who worked at the front desk was very pleasant and kind. The location of the lodge was perfect for walking.
The rooms are straight out of the 70s. The older style makes it feel dirty, although it was not dirty. The shower was missing a shower head and the temperature was inconsistent. The walls were paper thin and we could hear all our neighbors. I probably would not stay here again.
