This is a very cool, classic California hotel in the absolute best location! You can walk to beach and all the bars and restaurants nearby. There’s even a Ralph’s grocery and a taco stand right across the street. Very convenient :) The hotel is older so it’s not for everyone, but if you like character and old beauty, the hotel has it. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the staff was very personable and professional. I would definitely go back!

Julie at the front desk. She was so accommodating. Very easy to like, I enjoyed our conversations and will miss her.
I had asked the maid if she would clean my room, and left the message ticket on the door , but no one came. Finally, on my last night I asked Julie. She sent someone, which was great.
