The restaurant was nice atmosphere for the breakfast. However, was told they were a bit shortstaffed and had to ask for several things at the table that should’ve been furnished, and the omelette bar was not open but overall better than average. Also, the room was very nice. Particularly liked the walkway to the Civic Center to the show we went to. Everything was very clean and the decor was nice. There was a small fridge that I didn’t know we would get that was a nice addition.
Was counting on the robes that said were furnished. However, they were not there that’s it. There was a bit of a delay in the check-in because they could not find our reservation. Not sure what happened as we did book through a third-party, but was taken care of eventually.

The buffet breakfast was very good with a good variety. The option for a fresh omelet made it even better
We did have trouble setting the thermostat. Instructions on the desk would have been helpful

I’ve known about this hotel since I was a kid growing up in Peoria. It was lovely to stay here. The rooms are decorated beautifully. The staff was very professional and friendly.
In our original room and the room we were moved to, the air conditioning units were not working either at all or only worked for a short time. It was 78° overnight in our room and that’s pretty warm to try to sleep. The staff and maintenance people were nice but ineffective in being able to change the room temperature and outcome.
