Colonial Inn Seekonk

Perfect stay

It was inexpensive and provided all that needed I terms of comfort and cleanliness

The inn was very clean, comfortable and suited our needs for a place to sleep.

The bathroom fan was quite loud however it wasn’t unbearable.

This stay was a great value. I appreciated the extra pillows and flexible check in time.

A newer mattress would have improved my sleep as well as a blanket that was more substantial than just another cover sheet. In future renovations, I'd recommend changing the pedestal sink to a vanity. It was somewhat hard to prepare to a wedding will all the hair and cosmetic supplies required. Also, we had three people on the reservation, but only two towels for showering were provided.

With the exception of when arrived to check in the staff was friendly. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

When checking in the the person behind the counter could have been a little more friendly. We checked on at 9pm. We had just drove 9 hours and she just kept staying rudely "Give me your ID" She even said the exact thing to the guests behind me. I just wrote it off as she was having a bad day. The room had an off putting smell. It was tolerable but worth noting. The hair dryer was broken in the bathroom. The outlet was missing faceplate which could be a fire hazard. The mattress cover was dry rotting which was concerning if bed bugs were present or will be in the future. The TV was small for the room. 30 inch maybe. AC cover was broken so we could not direct the air flow. A sheet and a fleece throw is not acceptable bedding especially in the fall. These things we just chalked up to the rate being cheap. But for future stays we would probably choose the the Best Western across the street or another establishment.
