Breakfast was good and diverse. Not the same meals daily.
Around 4am someone was pounding on the door right across from us. She kept calling out to someone inside to open. This person was not whispering at all. She knocked for about 30min and kept calling out for someone to open for 30min straight as well. It was very frustrating that she didn’t stop but that no staff came out to see what was happening or ask her to quiet down.

Room was nicely decorated and comfortable with all amenities available. Hallway and public areas clean and not dated . Breakfast was good and breakfast staff very welcoming and friendly
On 1st arrival I stood in front of the receptionist for a while whilst she was on the phone. She did not acknowledge me and she appeared to be having a private conversation. Another member of staff arrived at the desk and she asked him to check me in. He was pleasant and efficient and had me checked in in no time.

Breakfast was decent, but could be improved. The grits were extremely watery and bland, like someone didn't know how to prepare them. The oatmeal also had a very unusual texture. The eggs were good.
They charge $18 per day for parking on top of the regular hotel fees.
Also, we checked in at 3:15pm, and the room we were first given like someone had urinated in the carpet. The smell was pretty strong. It's difficult to believe hotel staff had cleaned the room and the front-desk was unaware.
We got another room for the 2nd night.
Also, the room layout is not well designed. There is a lot of unused space in the front area, while the bathroom is extremely tiny. You can barely close the door to use the toilet without maneuvering around the door to close it. The bathroom space seems like an after-thought.
