The Boulder Creek Lodge

The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous. Good location, easy walk to downtown Nederland restaurants and shops. Nice view out of the room with a creek right below. Quiet hotel, but noise from downtown bars and restaurants can carry over during peak hours. Spacious bathroom with tub/shower and lots of hot water. Lots of free parking, easy access off the main highway through Nederland.

The common areas could use some updating, carpeting on stairs and hallways was frayed/wrinkled/worn out and could have been a trip/fall hazard. Common areas were very dark after nightfall, needs more lighting. Breakfast area opens relatively late, I think it was 8:00 AM. We went downtown for breakfast since we eat earlier than that. The entrance and hotel border need some landscaping updates, they are overgrown and not well maintained. Upstairs rooms have low hanging areas of the ceiling near the bed, causing several head bumps (I am 5'8"), thankfully none serious.

Great location, good quality, clean.

Beds weren’t super comfortable.

Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Clean.

Peacefull environment and location

Outdated. No TV options like Netflix or sport channels, Most of the time there was no one in front desk, you have to call a number. Staff will change frequently; you rarely see the same staff.
