It was in a good location for my trip. After a meeting nearby, I saw a family planting roses outside, which caught my eye. I was happy that I got to park right in front of my door. I also got to walk to the best Mexican restaurant. Inside it had a big TV, a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. (At the last Wyndham, the coffee maker was broken.)
The only negative is that it might be a noisy area but everything in the city is along a train line and the sonic booms from the AFB are a feature :). It was fine.

Budget Inn has a great location there in Alamogordo on the main road going into the city area. Loved the king-size bed and very nice clean bathroom and shower. TV and a/c worked great, no issues. Really nice, clean, well-maintained property.
The only gripe if any, would be the parking is pretty sparce. Other than very little parking, it's a great lodging option in Alamogordo, NM.
