The Park Hotel is our favorite place to stay in Madison. The location right on the square is perfect, and not having to worry about where to park makes it easy.

I enjoy the walkability of the location. The rooms are also attractive.
We arrived at 2:30, which is prior to the stated check-in time of 4. At other hotels you CAN check in, then come back and get your key when the room is available. Instead they were going to charge me another $25 on top of the almost $1500 STANDARD room for 2 nights. It really made me bristle.

Location was great. Suite was spacious.
Shower pressure very poor, hot water took a long time. Would have liked proper glasses and mugs instead of disposables. Pull out sofa mattress was uncomfortable to sleep on.
