We were greeted warmly, and helped with our luggage -- appreciated since we were up two flights of stairs. The room was a bit small, but very comfortable, with a peaceful view of the grounds.
It was just a bit too far from the center of town. It would have been nice to be able to walk.

Exceptional quality. Complimentary coffee, chocolates, bath robes etc. They have it all.

Discovery Inn was perfect for our one night get away in Friday Harbor. Everything was clean and welcoming. The owner goes to a lot of trouble to keep his property updated. Both the rooms and the outdoor game and picnic area were great.
It’s a little over a mile to walk to his property. We knew about the hike and used backpacks. Would not have wanted to walk with luggage. Owner offered to pick us up from the ferry terminal. He was a true gentleman.

Very cute, clean and comfortable property. The amenities, small touches and friendly receptionist stood out.
The location is a little outside of town.
