What a wonderful, beautifully appointed historic hotel. The bed was comfortable and not too hard like so many modern hotels have recently switched to. Everything was clean and it was quiet. Breakfast had really good hard boiled eggs and yogurt. Staff was incredible and allowed us to store our food in their freezer since our room did not have a freezer. We definitely will stay here again when we come through to visit family!
The only thing we would have liked to have but didn't was a bathtub, otherwise everything was excellent.

The room was ok
Horrible breakfast, no effort to check on guests needs (towels, soap etc). I get that Post COVID hotels aren’t doing routine housekeeping. But I believe in some cases this is just an excuse to save money and not have to hire staff to daily cleaning. It has much less to do with a Post COVID era and more to do with just being cheap. If a guest stays four or five days, and you give them three towels and one combination of shampoo and body wash, it stands to reason that by the third day, they will probably need more supplies.
