Breakfast quality needed is better

Overall smell could be improved in the rooms

Breakfast was good. Staff attentive and courteous. All needs were met.

It was not a deal breaker but would have preferred a building woth an elevator.

The breakfast was fine, and the hotel was close to an excellent diner. Would go back to that diner! The hotel was okay.

I was distressed by the fact that booking.com did not communicate our reservation with the hotel until several hours past our arrival. By then, we had booked independently with them and spent a few dollars more to do that. While checking in and afterwards, I tried to reach a human at booking.com, but was only aided by AI, and it was frustrating. I was afraid that I would be double charged since booking.com had my credit card. It seemed I should cancel the booking.com reservation, but that option meant that I would have to pay to do so. The option for cancellation didn't take into account that the reservation might be made much later than the guest's arrival. I will not use booking.com again because of this error on their part, unless I receive some sort of compensation for the trouble this caused me. I have an invoice stating my payment to the hotel.
