Good price, but the building needs a complete overhaul

Staff was friendly and price was fair

Barely any breakfast options, the entire place could use an upgrade, and the beds were terrible. We could barely move after we got up each morning. Pretty sure the mattresses haven't ever been replaced

3 / 10

Just not the standard we were expecting

Poor

No dead roaches on floor of room

1 / 10

Leaving

Thank you.

8 / 10Excellent·May 2026

Stayed at the Economy Lodge last minute and was pleasantly surprised by the great value for an overnight stay. The hotel offered free parking, which was very convenient, and the continental breakfast was a nice added bonus in the morning. The atmosphere was very construction worker friendly and practical for travelers needing a comfortable place to rest without spending a fortune. Overall, a solid affordable option when you need a quick and convenient stay in Avon Park.

Needs a major remodel
