The LINE LA's fantastic Koreatown location, along with the huge rooms and buzzy lobby area (complete with a cafe and a bar), makes me choose to stay here again and again. LA Metro right across the street for those who don't drive (like me)
Not sure if this is the hotel's intention, but the property feels like it was converted from a former hotel - so expect carpet everywhere, a very 80's-looking bathroom, dated bedroom furniture...

I really enjoyed my stay at The LINE. The hotel has a beautiful urban aesthetic with a cool concrete/industrial style that gives it a lot of character. The room was really nice, the bed was very comfortable and it had everything we needed including practical amenities like an iron and hairdryer.
The location is also great. There’s a metro station right next to the hotel and Koreatown is a lively area with plenty of restaurants and places to explore nearby. The little café inside the hotel is very convenient although quite expensive. The rooftop is also a great spot and definitely adds to the overall experience.
The welcome could have been better. The staff member we dealt with at check-in was quite cold and not particularly helpful which wasn’t the best first impression.
The room also doesn’t have much space for luggage. There is quite a lot of furniture so once you open your suitcases it quickly feels cramped and there isn’t much room to move around.
Parking at the hotel is quite expensive although there are several alternative parking options around the property.

This hotel was unexpectedly AWESOME! The rooms are modern and have everything you need for a short stay. Nice big desk in the room! The view on the upper levels is gorgeous on the Hollywood hills side of hotel, you can even see the Hollywood sign. Everything is clean, and well attended to with housekeeping. The pool and greenhouse style restaurant is a highlight. Lobby and Alfred coffee a massive plus too! There is some general street noise which quietens down at night, mostly because the hotel is located in centre of lively Koreatown.
Staff are exceptionally helpful, they will store your luggage for you and tell you where everything is!
Great find, if you don't want to stay in DTLA and much closer to Weho!
Nothing! Everything great! Slightly noisy at night due to outside traffic hustle, depends on what level your on, if you're sensitive to noise, ask for level 5 or higher.

Good value
No ability to control room temperature. Room was 68. I turned thermostat to heat to 72. AC continued to blast lowering temperature to 66. Only thing I could do was turn it off. It seemed like room temperature controls were fake.
