We were greeted well and the check in process was smooth. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and nicely set up. The towels were clean and fluffy. There were nice touches like quilts on the beds, fresh-ground coffee in a jar; large in-room refrigerators. Enough chairs for everyone to be seated.
I would suggest the staff develop a sitting area on the spacious lawn. We pulled our chairs outside the room (half on the gravel) to sit together in the sun and have refreshments in the afternoon. Also, some of us like to sit outside in the morning. The lawn could accommodate a nice patio or gazebo with seating for a small group and it would be an asset.
