The front desk clerk was really friendly and helpful; he called us when we were driving to the hotel to let us know that most restaurants in town closed by 9 and suggested we stop on the way for food, which I really appreciated. The view from the sea-front rooms is incredible and worth every penny. The walkway out to the beach was helpful. The pool looked nice, but we didn't use it. Easy drive to Astoria or Portland. The kitchenette was nice, and there was a cozy fireplace.
The only negative thing at all was that the unit was fairly small for more than 2 people. There was a murphy bed in the living room, but it took up most of the room, and we had to move the large dining table into the kitchen when it was down. If you're only really in the room to sleep, though, it's not too much of a problem.
