The room was spacious. The A/C unit worked well and quieter than big hotel units. It is an old-fashioned building that gives you a key. It is well maintained with nice upgrades like the washroom counter. Our room had a sofa besides the bed that was, unexpected, nice. Our refrigerator had a freezer. I was traveling with a cooler so I got to refreeze my ice packs. It was in a quiet town so not as noisy as it may appear. I enjoyed the flowers she planted all around the front of the building. It sounds terrible but when there is an exterior door in early Fall, flies enter the room. I was thrilled to have the room equipped with a flyswatter.

Staff very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the slightly retro feel. You could tell much was cleaned up and repaired but it still has a sixty-ish feel

Neighbors smoking right outside my room, not pleasant. Also, had to run the AC all night just to keep the baseboard heater from cooking the room
