Stayed for 3 nights.
Great place to stay, easy to find in the dark as I had to check-in late. They put an envelope outside the office/restaurant with self check-in instructions - it was a keyless numpad based check-in with a map to find where the room is within the property. I stayed in room #22B. Since no pictures were there on the listing, I was surprised to see the size of the room, it was big. There was a kitchenette with microwave, mini-freeze, sink, no utensils or stovetop like an Airbnb. Microwave was a saviour for reheating drinks/take-out and late night microwavable comfort food.
Excellent wifi, internet speed was smooth for remote work. I think they have starlink, my room was 100+ meters away from their office but had no issues with streaming HBO on my phone or working on my laptop.
They let me checkout late, thanks for that! I wanted to complete one last hike and freshen up before heading home.
There was only 1 roll of toilet paper, no hand soap and no body wash in the bathroom. I asked for it the next day at the office, the guy said housekeeping will be coming sometime that day but no one did. The day after when I went to make payment for the room, I asked again at the office and the lady was very helpful, she gave 2 rolls of toilet paper right away.

Unbeatable location right outside Death Valley with incredible views! Super cute spot, easy van parking, and spotless shower and toilet facilities. The restaurant staff were so welcoming and served great dinner and breakfast. Excellent value for money - we’ll definitely be back!
Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed for the season which was a shame. Olancha is very hot so it would have been nice to use.

After a long drive from Utah across Death Valley, we were given a warm welcome by Alison.
I felt at home immediately. Our accomodation overlooked the valley and mountains and it was so quiet, just the warm wind blowing through the trees.
Our bed was clean and comfortable as was the bathroom and kitchen area.
My daughter and partner joined us the next day and they parked their small van in one if the RV spots.
The food was cooked from scratch very good. Breakfast cooked by Alex was especially delicious and we sat outside in the morning sun to eat.
The nearby sculpture garden was beautiful and what a setting.
I was very sad to leave to continue our road trip north.

Location was great entrance to death valley
Tents were moldy, fridge too. Floor had nail heads looking out. Everything seemed a bit old and not well maintained
