The Location can't be beat. Right across from the historic state house and smack dab in the middle of the historic sector. Its far enough away from the harbor (3 blocks) that the hustle and bustle of the Annapolis boat show doesn't impact as much. Love the historic buildings and the history that goes with them. Love the views down to the harbor. Many great restaurants just steps away. The staff is super helpful.
Wouldn't so much say "didn't like" but both of the buildings we stayed in were over 200 yrs old, so the rooms are a bit smaller, some don't have closets (that wasn't a thing in the 18th century), and there a re areas that you can tell, This is 200 yrs old, the steps are worn, the elevators are slow etc.

The staff including the valet were very welcoming. The place has charm and history. The rooms are comfortable as are the beds. Our view was very pleasant—giving our onto a small courtyard. The bathroom had nice amenities. The location could not be beat!
The whole place could use more light. It is a bit dark including in the room. There was a spot on our carpet and we found someone’s cell phone lying on floor so wondered how carefully the room has been cleaned. The coffee was not great quality. The elevators seem a bit dated.
